I'm an indie app developer & I've been building apps for the last couple years. The kind of apps I build are a bit all over the place but I tend to focus on ideas that I actually use and need in my life. Moreso, I'm enjoying building apps as a creative expression. I used to do a lot of art as a kid but my mom forced me into STEM (thankfully!). Now I use my apps as an opportunity to be creative and experimental with design. I do something called "build in public" - I share my app building journey openly online. In a previous life, I did software engineering and product design at Snap and other startups. Sometimes I think about going back to corporate life but for now I'm enjoying being a shit poster online & building apps.
